GROHE Blue Home is setting new trends for sustainable water use
The Pantone Color 2020 Classic Bluealso celebrates the element of water and its manifold effects
Düsseldorf, 17th December 2019 – The trend color for 2020 has been announced: Classic Blue. According to the US Pantone Color Institute, the classic shade has both a pleasantly calming and a stimulating effect. As it is well known, water, which symbolizes ever-flowing life, has the same twofold effect. Taking a warm bath is a wonderful way to relax, while a refreshing shower can awaken new energy. The Pantone Color of the coming year is thus all about water.
The precious resource also takes center-stage at GROHE, a leading brand for full bathroom solutions and kitchen fittings. With its GROHE Blue Home water system, GROHE offers an innovative and sustainable solution for filtered drinking water that is always fresh – straight from the kitchen tap. It is possible to draw still, medium or sparkling water according to taste and simultaneously cool it to an optimal drinking temperature. But above all, the sustainable aspects of GROHE Blue Home are convincing: According to a study by the University of Göttingen, GROHE Blue Home can save up to more than 60% CO2 compared to bottled water . In addition, a family of four in Germany can avoid around 800 plastic bottles per year .
Thanks to its innovative design, GROHE Blue Home does not only save water, but is also a real eye-catcher in the kitchen: The slim tap features an intuitive touch activation with colored LED illumination. In addition to the predecessor model GROHE now also offers a version with a pull-out mousseur. And thanks to the GROHE ONDUS app, users are notified immediately if a filter or the CO2 bottle needs to be replaced. The app also makes it easy to re-order from the GROHE Blue Home online shop.
GROHE Blue Professional also offers the pleasure of cold and filtered water in a choice of still, medium or sparkling straight from the kitchen tap for office kitchens. The system is extremely compact and suitable for any kitchenette, as the cooler even fits into a standard kitchen cabinet.
