This is how, for example, the innovative GROHE SmartConnect shower control unit came into being: The wireless remote control connects to the GROHE Rainshower 310 head shower via Bluetooth and allows users to select or combine spray types effortlessly – for maximum comfort and water enjoyment with a modern look.

The interdisciplinary jury of the German Innovation Award 2020 also believes that this is an innovation advancing the industry through its originality, implementation and effectiveness, and has named GROHE Rainshower 310 SmartConnect the "Winner" in the category "Excellence in Business to Consumer – Heating & Bathroom". This award particularly honors products and solutions across all industry sectors that differ from previous solutions in terms of user-centricity and added value.

GROHE Rainshower 310 SmartConnect offers innovative water control: The head shower is connected via Bluetooth to a battery-powered, round remote control which allows you to switch between the gentle GROHE PureRain and invigorating ActiveRain sprays or combine both spray patterns at the push of a button. The wireless remote control can be conveniently positioned in an easily accessible place and is intuitive to use thanks to self-explanatory pictograms. The head shower is available in a round and a square design and has a comfortable diameter of 310mm. It can be easily and quickly mounted on existing shower arms.
