“Hello Future, Nice to Meet You” was the motto of the Handelsblatt Media Group’s kick-off festival of the first ada Fellowship class at the Zeche Zollverein in the German city of Essen the week before last. GROHE and twelve other renowned organisations such as the German federal government and companies like Lufthansa, Douglas, Henkel, Telekom and Google support the programme as initiating partners.
ada, named after the British programming pioneer Ada Lovelace, is a Germany-wide education campaign about digital life and the economy of the future. The objective of the one-year programme is to promote understanding, methodology, and empowerment in areas of the most relevant future issues. Thanks to inspiring live events, hands-on interactive workshops, and online immersion modules, the Fellows become experts of the digital economy as well as of life and work of the future.
A total of 500 Fellows take part in the pioneer class of the ada programme for digital transformation in Germany. We are particularly proud of 20 of them: On behalf of GROHE, they will participate in the exciting learning journey and share their newly acquired digital skills within our organisation.
