The infrared sensor detects hand movement so water only runs when it’s needed – delivering washing enjoyment while saving precious water – so it’s ideal for the cloakroom at home and in busy public spaces. You can effortlessly adjust the temperature with a small lever and it can be limited with the use of a small enclosed accessory, which cuts energy use and the risk of scalding. This advanced mixer only takes a few minutes to install and its pre-settings are optimised for most washbasins and personal preferences. Cleaning mode is activated by covering the bottom of the sensor with a thumb, which temporarily locks the water flow. There are three modes: product cleaning (the water flow is deactivated), automatic flushing (how often and how long the water flows) and thermal disinfection (the run time). The GROHE Remote Control (36407001), which is sold separately and can be used with other GROHE products with an infrared sensor, enables added functions, including service adjustments and monitoring.
