To retain the appearance of the national monument, the external façade of the stadium is not being altered.

The renovation of the world-famous stadium for the 2014 Football World Cup is transforming what was once the largest stadium in the world into an ultra modern multi-purpose arena. The stands are 13 metres closer to the pitch, and the new roof, constructed from white, sail-like material, provides shade, yet also lets in plenty of natural daylight.

Reliable GROHE cisterns with durable, stainless steel GROHE Skate Cosmopolitan wall plates featuring dual flush and start/ stop function are economical and help to save water.
