The striking appearance has made the arena a new Zagreb landmark

The ultra-modern multi-purpose arena was built specially for the 2009 Handball World Championship. The light and seemingly transparent hall structure consists of 86 curved concrete columns. Special steel cables are fixed to the top of the pillars that support the suspended roof construction with a span width of 104 metres. A band of translucent synthetic material runs around the building above the entrances, which lends the façade its unique appearance thanks to a variety of possible lighting effects at night.

High-quality and robust GROHE Eurosmart basin mixers and functional GROHE Relexa showers are used in the washrooms which are subject to very heavy use. They combine an attractive design with long-lasting functionality for an economical, yet perfect water experience.
